Much has been given to us, many gifts. Here is a short film of people who have a little giving to people who have less. In the face of no money, few resources and a poverty spanning centuries, People can give of themselves. A smile, a wave, a helping hand…each of us is capable…a Candle does not get smaller when it lights another candle. Go ahead and light a candle today. Go here to see what I am talking about:

Feel Good Friday #4
Feel Good Friday #4
Hi Everyone, I got this from Daily Good…
Paul Hawken is renowned entrepreneur, visionary environmental activist, founder of Wiser Earth and author of many books -- most recently Blessed Unrest.
Recently, he was presented with an honorary doctorate of humane letters by University of Portland, when he delivered this superb commencement address: http://www.dailygood.org/more.php?n=3697 go there now!
Here are some excerpts from that speech in case you can’t find the time to get there:
“…you are going to have to figure out what it means to be a human being on earth at a time when every living system is declining, and the rate of decline is accelerating…Basically, the earth needs a new operating system, you are the programmers, and we need it within a few decades…There is invisible writing on the back of the diploma you will receive, and in case you didn’t bring lemon juice to decode it, I can tell you what it says: YOU ARE BRILLIANT, AND THE EARTH IS HIRING…What I see everywhere in the world are ordinary people willing to confront despair, power, and incalculable odds in order to restore some semblance of grace, justice, and beauty to this world…Humanity is coalescing. It is reconstituting the world, and the action is taking place in schoolrooms, farms, jungles, villages, campuses, companies, refuge camps, deserts, fisheries, and slums…The living world is not "out there" somewhere, but in your heart…Working for the earth is not a way to get rich, it is a way to be rich…Ralph Waldo Emerson once asked what we would do if the stars only came out once every thousand years. No one would sleep that night, of course…The world would become religious overnight. We would be ecstatic, delirious, made rapturous by the glory of God. Instead the stars come out every night, and we watch television…Each of us is as complex and beautiful as all the stars in the universe. We have done great things and we have gone way off course in terms of honoring creation…”
How about you? Looking for a job?

Feel Good Friday #3
Feel Good Friday #3
Tween bot:
A robot that requires human interaction to accomplish its mission.
This interesting little experiment restores my faith in the goodness of humans. It would have been easy to ignore the little helpless robot. Or to do the robot some harm. But that did not happen. The tweenbot got to his destination with the help of humans. Go to:
http://www.dailygood.org/more.php?n=3693
And check out the tweenbot in Washington Square Park (NYC).

Feel Good Friday #2
Feel Good Friday…#2
Here is a 3 minute video of an amazing man. They call him the sand dancer. When I think of his vision in doing his craft I am astounded. When I realize he is willing to accept the impermanence of life I am inspired. I hope you will be too.

Here’s a blurb to entice you to spend 3.5 minutes on this!
Mankind Is No Island
Using images found on street signage in Sydney and New York, Jason van Genderen shot this entire movie on a cell phone! "Mankind is No Island" is a cleverly crafted visual and musical narrative, whose production budget was a whopping $57! Winner of the TropFest NY 2008 award, the world's largest short film festival, this is three and half minute experience that will leave you inspired.
